All,
Since it was surprisingly little info about how to replace the neck seal on an Ocean Rodeo Pyro Pro dry suit online, and since the manual is next to useless, I published a documentary here:

I need to replace my neckseal aswell.
I replaced the ancle and wrist seals already but still looking for something which will fit in the neck..
Like you i found out that a ball doesn't work... so i'm still searching for the grail...
looks like you found it, got a pic to share from the grail and it's dimensions?
Thx

Try a kids beach bucket, or a plastic paint kettle, that should do it :0)

Thanks for your excellent article and pictures. I had to replace a neck seal once and I agree that the manual is useless. It was a difficult job, but your article will make it easier for anyone in the future.

OR is a good company which makes the useless manual out of character for them.
I did not look too hard for the right sized object so I used the following method sent to me by another kiteboarder.
Using a heat gun, heat up the white tape that is pre-existing on the suit not the new seal, you peel away the white paper to expose a sticky strip on the new seal, and roller tack the neck seal at 12 o'clock
tack at 6 o'clock
tack at 3 o'clock
tack at 9 o'clock
Then work each quadrant till its completely sealed. this was the most helpful tip I was given thus I didn't need the exact size ball to fit the whole neck seal at once.

hi Frode,
probably best solution is to repair your suit by local scuba dive equipment repair shop. they do this kind of job for decades now...

hehe, - a divers shop could have been easier, - but I wanted to try it out.
I attach two pictures of the bowl, - it's about 70,5 cm in circumference.
Also, I have now used it twice in 5 degrees C, and it seems to hold up well.
The video is good, - but slightly different, since he uses aquaseal to glue a seal to an old seal, - I used a pre-applied glue to glue a seal to the old tape (I am still unsure if I could have removed this tape with heat).
Frode.
