haha no...I am glad to say. We get some bad squalls in stormy windy conditions, but nothing like that so far. Still you can never be sure. We've had some pretty severe squalls tho..

Here is another less dramatic shelf cloud that passed over a couple of weeks ago in Bimini, Bahamas during the Pryde Group Dealer Conference. Unlike what comes with Kona winds we do see a fair number of shelf clouds in the SE and Caribbean.

we get some goodies down here in the south caribbean too. nothing quite like that monster though. would like to see that at sea!!!!
just got back to the boat after packing up my kite and waiting for this one to hit.
over the summer they are worst, i have had them gusting 60knots before while sailing, once lifting the dinghy we were towing (minus engine) out of the water!
