I've spent two weeks last august, always pumped my 7. Never been in November, anyway I will probably go for 7+9. I'm 75 kgs. riding a tt.

no room for a 7? come on that's a carry on!
anyway nov is not as crazy windy as summer. for me the 9 is always the money kite in maui and you could have a great year with only 1 kite.
if I had to bring 2 in summer it's 7-9 and fall 9-12 as it's a bit lighter than summer. but it also depends on your board and riding styles as the swell has arrived.

We have been having some strange weather lately, lots of non kiting days. If its like that a 12 is not going to help you. Maui is a strange place with lots of strong gusty days. I personally never use anything bigger than a 10 and spend most my time on an 8. I'm 170 lbs and ride a TT. I would bring the 7 9 as you are more likely going to use the 7 than the 12.

Thanks for the info. The airlines are very tight on what you can bring, so having to put all my kite gear in our hold bags/carry on bags which is why I'm a bit restrictrd.
Cheers............
