Airtime valves delaminating ...... outrageous!!

So I've just spent another 2 hours repairing valves on an orange repair done 5 months ago and on a 15 that gets very little usage.....and I'm a bit pissed.

The issue is delimamination of the factory produced PVC valve to adhesive octagon NOT the user applied peel and stick to orange bladder connection.
So beware.....I've now replaced 5 of these with same issue and wonder how such a fundamental production flaw can exist.
We pay a pretty penny for this system and to have a failure that is impossible to pin on user error is unacceptable.

Perhaps this was a bad batch? Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

Further reason for concern is that airtime seems to be monopolizing the repair market and there may be no alternatives to the system soon.

Nope - if commercial there are many subjects I am not aware of :o

Hmm - everywhere ?
Not around here...

But maybe in other countries then ?

I have still never ever heard about it - so you say they are simply a repair company ?

We have excellent repair "guys and shops" here in Denmark, and not using internet sales that much - so maybe thats why we dont know "Airtime" whatsoever...

:naughty: Pete

www.fixmykite.com is the alternative to the Airtime bladder and nipple monopoly.
Their bladders and nipples are cheaper and better.

HELLO! (Gear breaks:) I wouldn't say it's outrageous. I have never used that word for anything.
What conditions do you store the kite in?
Cab kites seem to have a system that is pretty maintenance free.
I replace valves. The glue just wears out sometimes. I pump and fly my kites hard.
Sounds like you are an expert now, so no worries....
Did you miss a day on your 15?! whaaaaaaaaaaa
Don't be a pussy

Hey Drama Queen.
So sorry you are not having much luck with the last five valves you tried.
Im sure there is more their that meets the eye, (HEAT!!!,,DIRT!!!,,CREASES!!!,,DEBRI!!!!BAD LUCK!!!,), Who Knows? I bet if you contact Air Time they would be happy to assist you with your issues related to you valves.
Calling a business out like this on line, without contacting them first for some additional help is a bit like me call you a little bitch. Its very offensive and not very useful, beside pissing people off.
I have had trouble free repair from Air Time for six years now and I highly recommend them for a quick professional and seamless quality repair.
I am not affiliate with Air Time but I have experienced their Outrageous Dependabiliy.
