Lately we have been grabbing the Taboo 15m. We flew the Zephyr a fair amount last season and liked it but it really did feel like a big kite and was little much for us since we are lighter weight riders. The 15m Taboo is obviously smaller by 2 meters than the Zephyr, but it seems to be doing the job and it's still a lot of fun. We are still waiting for a Turbine so can't comment on that. One design characteristic that may differentiate the kites is the bridles and pulleys. The Turbine is designed around the Rally and the 14m Rally is a great pulley free kite. The Turbine, on the other hand has pulleys, like the Zephyr. The 15m Taboo has a pulley free bridle system. I'm sure it's been said, fly before you buy. If you have a local shop ask for a demo...

If you're on facebook we posted images from a few LW sessions and as you can see there's zero white caps. Board is a Slingshot Glide:

Edit: my bad...Zephyr has always been pulley free. flysurfer videos are most impressive, but I still want an inflatable!

Yes, but it is not a 17-19 meters moster, is a fast kite for its size, I will try to demo.
