Hi all,
I've been digging around for info, but I was wondering what Twintips are out there that are wave specific? The RRD Venom is exactly what I'm after, as its size will allow for rigging a kite one size smaller, same as kiting w/a surfboard, and it also looks to have narrower tips to handle chop & wave handling. I'm guess'n it has a bit more rocker too..but is this the only wave TT on the market now?
I ride a surfboard(no straps) & skimboard as my main boards, but I'm looking for a board that I can take out w/the same kite as the surf/skim & just have some twintip fun!
Thanks for any info.
K. (68kgs)
Ps - I've ruled out the OR Mako. (I like to mix in some wake-style when on a TT)

Since the tips are thinner on the Venom, there's prob just a little less bite for pop, but it should be better for chop/waves..There's always a comprimise, and I'm willing to sacrifice "some" loss of pop for better chop absorbtion & wave handling..
I've looked into the RW's..I have a TT from Lee, from years ago..And loved it.
Hope anyone can share their finds/experiences.

The Ocean Rodeo Mako King. The large concave volume, large size and rounded nose make it an excellent wave board. It comes with normal and thruster fins that can be mounted in various configurations. The board itself can be converted to mutant mode for an even more surfy feel.
Thanks for your input Kirok, but I've read a few reviews of the Mako's, and won't be considering them. (not that they're not good in waves/chop, but more that I'm looking for a freestyle-able TT)
search Decay Katana. Sorry i'm too lazy to search it myself. I have one and its sweet on the waves and chop. Very nice indeed. Holds alot of power too.
have a look at the jimmy lewis twin tips... they have large volume, narrowish tips and rounded topped rails, in fact the construction seems similar to surfboards
