I'd like to go in Montenegro this august, does anybody went there?any advices?What wind conditions?how are the beaches?what best one?flat-choppy or wave spots?nice places to visit also around?please let me know...

Haven't been there myself yet, but friends tell me that Ulcinj is south enough to get thermal winds during summer. Beaches are sandy, big chop/small waves and excellent nightlife. Don't know about any other spots in Montenegro.

been there for couple of years, but not recently. There are several kite spots/schools on " Vela Plaza" beach, but all on 2nd half, southern part. Nothern part is too crowdy in the summer. Russians have cool center there, on "Copacabana" beach, also the locals where the river Bojana meets the sea.

No problems with apartments there as they offer you them everywhere. Nightlife etc is really good there.

Prevailing wind side-on-shore, starts around 14h till sunset. Wind chance normally around 70% in the early summer, late summer less chance. Strength anything from 8,10kts to 20, 25kts...

Bring all of the kites with you! You will ride big kites more...

There's probably no flat conditions in Montenegro just chop... but you have perfect flat spots in Grado region...
