Hi all
Would need some advice on the airush cypher 5'10'' or 5'8'' (or choptop I guess as it is a similar board)
I am looking for a light wind wave board. Conditions are 10-15 knots and waves of 50cm to shoulder high. I weigh 80kg and my biggest kite is 12 meter kite and then a 9meter (dont want to use bigger).
Now I am in doubt between the 5'10 and 5'8. the width of the 5'10 looks huge.
Does anyone could recommend which board to go for. My other board is the naish global 6' which i use from 14knots and more.
Secondly, I read that the choptop 2012 is not superb in upwind due to its rocker. Does the Cypher has better upwind perfomance ro is it the same?
thanks ankers

I've been riding the 2013 5'8" Cypher the last few days and I've found that it's a great all around board, especially for it's size. I'm much smaller than you at 150lbs, yet I can still turn it well in medium winds............... and at 20" wide that was surprising to me............
I have no experience with their other boards. Normally for me an 18" board is big...........
I thought the up-wind was good and the speed was great with that vee bottom. It had a very smooth ride, you could really fly............
