Got to give them credit for a sweet board program... Like the Arcade for bindings, the wakeSkate, the Skater for bumpandjump, the 6.1 global for DTL, the fish for light wind, and would even like to have a raceboard 70cm wide for racing in the summer. Shit... That alot off gear.

There what is?
Lines don't snap just because of frictional wear, the condition of the line deteriorates due to the stress put onto it from the kite, the action of sand that gets under the PU lining (ok this is frictional wear I suppose) and the constant immersion in salt water.
Like I said, I prefer to see the condition of my lines - I wax my lines so don't really suffer problems with them breaking.

Jay Rope inside plastic tube does deteriorate, my chicken loop snapped the other-day the plastic tube looked fine at the beginning of the session but little did I know the rope had disintegrated due to trapped sand.
