Any Airstyler tried the 16 yet?
Curious about its performance.

I was always interested in the Nitro, but never got a chance to try one out. I was turned off by the reports of high bar pressure of the earlier models, but this is saying light to medium bar pressure. Is that true?

I also didn't think I'd like the kite because it looks similar in shape to the Screamer to me, and I wasn't a fan of the screamer. Anyone have ridden both Nitro and Screamer can give any advice on that?

Kites I love: Rebel, Fuse, Dyno, Edge. For big air and racing. Will I like the Nitro?

It is not only how high it jumps but how. They talk about deeper profile, more power, slack, that's sets it appart from just another Race kite. I like the kite that rips up not just pulls up it gives me that moment of slack for a heliloop for example. I like the kite that jumps from short redirect stroke instead of wide swings of a race kite. But at the same time I still want the hang time and not drop like a stone. We shall see but it sounds good so far.

There is even a 1 kite quiver.

If you know where you have the most fun with and can pretty much choose your conditions, why bother with second or 3rd best quiver.

I fly my Nitro v3 10m on a twin 132x41 from 13-35 knots, so for the conditions here can be one kite quiver  8)
Bar pressure is light and can increase a little as the wind.
Jumping, the feel is glide (and this is coming from an ozone rider who files mostly the edge) but the kite is also quite fast turning, so this can be deal breaking for the airstylers.... Another plus is I have seen some modified successfully the bar with the "mini chicken loop"

By the end of year or earlier will come an 18m light wind kite the helium maybe also this will do the job if it can take the load at top end(it's a 3 strut kite) . I know you want to fly them at 20+ knots, those big kites

Well you and I share very very similar tastes in kites indeed... :D

I run 4 kites but 95 percent and probably more is only on two of them and 80 percent on one of them, hence spend the money on those two and some cheapies for others for specialised sessions.

18m 3 strut...nope for airstyle, forget it, I guarantee you it won't work. Especially under a big guy.

I weigh 205# and have only two kites these days: a 10m and 12m Nitro3. Some overlap on the low end but on the high end I can ride in very high winds given my weight. A couple of the guys a bit lighter than me ride a 8m and 12m Nitro3 as their 2 kite quiver. And I recently sold my 7m kite because I never really needed it.

Bar pressure is very light on these kites.
