Thinking of going on a kiting trip to Cancun.
Anyone been there before?
Looking for any helpful info, such as when to go, where to ride, what it's like, where to stay, etc.
Many thanks!

Hi there, bring your big and medium kite. I was there in April and got one day out of four. I stayed at a swanky resort, Silversands with my wife who was attending a office perk. It was half way between Playa del Carmen and Cancun, I saw only one other kiter. My friend who was there the year before was staying on the 'Mexican Riviera' Cancun. He said he got three oout of five days at the south end of the hotel strip. Look on Google Earth. South of all the hotels is a crescent shaped beach that works in E-SE, SE, E-NE. He said there were about five local guys, all good guys and that it was a good place to go. Good luck, happy trails, ola!
