With all due respect Mr.Laughingman,
I don't have anything to hide and this is the reason why I took the executive decision to post if you want to call it "negative comment" about the RENEGADE 7. Because we always get positive reviews on any of our Epic product. And just wanted to share this comment with all our fellow kiters to see if any one else had any of these problems happen to their R7 or 9 in gusty conditions, because I never hear about this before except if your LE is not pumped hard enough or if there is a lick on the LE. What is wrong with that!!!!!

P.S. By the way 280/350lbs was a joke. :remybussi:

Mr. D. Thank you for the respect. I also respect you. I have no problem with what you were trying to do. It is just the way you did it that struck me as... What!? I know some 300lb Kiters, maybe that is why I didn't get the joke, and by the way, they have never complained about their small kites "jelly fishing".
As I said I'm just trying to help. You certainly cannot depend on your cronies for an honest opinion. They seem to be brain washed...

dimitri i emailed epic about a week ago and asked for a contact re selling the kites, i have not had a repsonse. could you PM me a # to get in contact please?

Hello Mr.Jinx
Thank you for you interest in becoming an EPIC dealer but I never received your email. Did you sent your email to dimitri@epickites.com or to info@epickites.com?
If you want to get in touch with me directly and as soon as possible, you need to email me at: dimitri@epickites.com or else my wife "Helen" is the one getting the emails sent to info@epickites.com but she took a week off from work, so she won't forward the emails sent to info@epickites.com until she gets back from her vacation which is today.
So if you don't mind sending your email again to dimitri@epickites.com and will go from there. But again so you know, we are very strict with whom we want as EPIC dealers. We are turning down a lot of dealers world. We are looking at quality dealers/schools that will be able to do a great job promoting the EPIC product with their customers.

thanks mr dimitri email sent :)

It was not a SCREAMER 7 but a RENEGADE 7. I just got another email from the same customer clarifying that it was a RENEGADE 7. So in few words something must be wrong with the kite or with the way he inflated the kite because the RENEGADE 7 are know to be "Gust eaters" compare to the SCREAMER 7. Did you guys had any of this happened to your RENEGADE 7 or 9 because I have not experienced this before. Please let me know!!!

On another note, don't worry about Mr.Laughingman. Obviously he has something against EPIC kites. What ever I do or what ever I post he will always find something to write against EPIC KITES or myself. But that means we are doing a great job, or else he would not waist his time posting things on the EPIC topics.

Oh- you mean he's a troll. Got it.

Mr ballonboy

I'm well past a troll. It's not like I do this randomly besides Dimitri asked me back to the thread... Tell me what you think, is it more respectable to call out the truth and make suggestions for improvement or blatantly and blindly support a brand simply because you are affiliated with that brand? Are you affiliated with "epic"? Personal friends with the D man. What have you got into this which makes you give a crap about what I have to say? Are you afraid your friends might think your kites are not as cool as you claim... Which is it?

Sincerely
Beyond troll...lol

It would appear that Dimitri is rarely embarrassed, that does not really seem to be in his DNA.

Not the case at all, if you look at posts from many loyal customers, you will find criticism to the product where it needs work and input as to where they would like to see the product go.
Most folks don't feel the need to post the kind of criticism that you often do, to make yourself feel good about yourself.
It is laughable that you are taking credit for the improvements that the Epic products have taken.
Your observation of the Infinity was the same as many people that tested the V1 kite.
A buddy of mine sent an email about the Infinity the first time he tried it.
You think that your posts/observations/input is what is steering the Epic ship?... really??

You took Dimitri's comments to you in that other thread at dead face value?..and you were not able to read anything else between the lines?...wow!
Dimitri's comments to you are very obviously an attempt to diffuse your bitterness with kindness.
You really don't see that, do you?

Oldnbroken, dude I'm on an iPad, how do you expect me to respond to that with the attention it deserves? Maybe tomorrow after kiting I'll respond but for now... Good night.

Voice of reason.... If that was a joke, I didn't get it.

dimitri, I had a renegade jellyfish only slightly, but it was really really soft. The renegades are so trusty that I don't really care what I pump them to full load. I'd be surprised if I had that to 6 psi tht day. But otherwise no issues on the renegades at any size. They have always worked great.

Yeah the situation about the 7m Screamer that turned into a Renegade somehow sounds like a bad inflated kite. 11PSi. well i cant hardly get that into my kite 8/9 usually is more then enough.
Still cant wait for a better inflation valve. Or maybe even wrong rigged.

Been using my 12m 2010 Screamer up to 30 knots and it still kept shape.

Well i been to Fehmarn Germany this weekend and i can say i had a blast! Nuking winds my trusty old 12m and the clear waters. Wow beautifull over there.

Or probably you are 280 to 350 lbs and in the lows when you crash or you are deep in the water and the kite powers up through out the window it will fold for a second because of the heavy weight, but that happens to all the kites.

I seen my friend's 3G Renegade 9m fold in above-described conditions more than once. The kite was pumped rock-hard, the rider is about 180lbs and on one of these occasions the kite inverted to make it more fun. So that's a fact.

I don't agree, however about the "that happens to all the kites" statement - because it doesn't! In my memory, the only kites i've seen folding were the first gen. Thrusters in smaller sizes and now - the Renegades.
