 "medical equipment" I dont Know in US but ground staff in EU are not so stupid, they load thousand bags like those every year and they Know perfectly what are you checking in, then they can tell you " there's no medical equipment written on it" " why is not M.E. written on it instead of epic kiteboarding ?" If you say "medical equipment", that will be a wake up call because you could be carrying a lot of forbidden and dangeruos goods in aviation. Are you joking, aren't you? Nice bag anyway and I like your vids
Hello "flaps1111" The reason I decided to use "MEDICAL EQUIPMENT" is because every time I go to check my bags they always give me a hard time. Even when they see GOLF BAGS written on it. They still go into their computer and try to look on how to price these bags and we end up arguing. So one time I had 3 prototype golf bags with me with nothing written on it. So they let me go with 2 because I was traveling overseas and they were free. And then some how the check in person was very generous and told me the inside story about how to get a FREE check in bag. He told me if it is a "MEDICAL EQUIPMENT" bag, then you don't have to pay. So he let me go and did not charge me for the 3rd bag either and put in the computer as "Medical Equipment". So I asked him are you going to check and see if I have Medical equipment in it!!! And his response was: "I just did" with a big smile. So since then when I go and check my bags I mention that one of them is MEDICAL EQUIPMENT and it works every time. This is the reason why I decided to put on one of the bags (Medical Equipment). But again you have to make sure that you are under the weight restriction which is 50 lbs.
P.S. Again, only one of the bags will have "MEDICAL EQUIPMENT" in small. And on the final production you won't have "KITEBOARDING" only "EPIC MEDICAL EQUIPMENT"

Its a very nice system, but Ill bet the first bag with all those kites and 2 boards/ harness is over 50 lbs?
Also have you ever had fins break? I would love to travel w/o taking them off. One time I made the mistake of putting my fins in a carry on and Security called them "weapon like" because they are sharp. Almost had them thrown out, but his supervisor let me keep them. Lesson learned.

Hello "mo'wind" I had 53 lbs on the Big bag and 37 lbs on the Small bag in the video I made about packing the equipment inside the TRANSPORTER bags. This is the reason why you should always leave your kite bags at home and take only the kites. Extra weight is not a good option. But you can always moves things around from one bag to the other bag. Usually I will leave it like that and if they say that I am 3 lbs over at the check in counter, then I would take my bars out and put them in the smaller bag. Concerning my fins breaking, I never had any of my fins break, but I also put my Twin Tip board inside a twin tip bag for more protection for the fins and the kites (see video). Because I would not want to have the fins rip my kites.

Hi guys, My wife and I donated to Global Kiter Foundation a brand new SCREAMER 9m (1G) for an EPIC Easter this year. The kite comes complete with bar, t-shirt, stickers, so they can fund raise and continue the great work they are doing for our sport. To win the kite, all you need to do is donate 1 EURO or 1.4 USD. This gives you 1 chance to win the kite. Every euro you donate gives you another chance to win. It’s a great way of supporting the Foundation, and winning a kite. The contest starts right now and runs until the 26th of March! Check out globalkiter.com now and the kite could be yours! Have an EPIC Easter from us all!! This is the link: http://www.globalkiter.com/one-euro-one-kite
Today i went to the lake (frozen!) to do some jump on the Screamer 12m but i forgot the kite!! But since it was blowing up to 28 knots i decide to give my wife's Renegade 7m a try. It was the first time that I went on a LEI smaller than 9m! This R7 is quite fast on 55cm bar . It was funny to do turn with downloop! I was surprise by the jump for such a small kite. The kite is stable, medium bar pressure, super easy to relaunch and very fun to ride because it is super fast. I did a huge amount of km, too bad I don't have my GPS. I went to an other village and got back during the sunset still in 25 knots of wind. This was super fun session even if we where on ice mostly!
This kite is my wife's smallest kite but I think I will use it more in the future. I can understand why it is a great wave kite. Will try it in the waves next summer.
Funny that cos we have a 7m Renegade which was mainly for my Fiance but I've ended up using it loads this winter mainly for wave riding but also one snowkite session, she's been using the 5m loads! Been using all the Renegade's for all purpose riding and when it's proper bangin' winds grab the Screamers and the TT
It was freezing this day, sunny one minute with freezing needle sharp hail the next.

You can now buy the Epic Mesh Bag separately from the main EPIC KITE BAGS. This "MESH BAG" sells for $49.95 on our online store. This item will be up on the EPIC ONLINE STORE by this weekend. Again, it is all about "QUALITY".
