So MassKiting is down in OBX this week. We have been enjoying demo's from Epic all week. Will post some pictures when the wind dies...Tomorrow... In the mean time just wanted to direct you to the below post. We have a huge fundraiser this Friday in Avon NC to benefit the Local Red Cross. We wanted to do a post Irene fundraiser to benefit the Outer Banks and Dimitri and Helen helped with some ideas, planning, and BIG donations right from the start! Dimitri and Cameron should be on hand Friday night to talk all things epic, kiting, and the Outer Banks! Again big thanks to Epic for donating a 12m Screamer to the raffle! http://www.kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2375541

I have the 10m Screamer LTD V3 for about 2 months now here in Aruba. I had the V2 before this. I've been kiting since 1999 and have always had C kites. I've had two or three bridled kites mostly for wave riding. I got these kites from Lysander @ ARUWAK kiteboarding school Aruba. He pushed me to try it as I was hesitant at first because of the bridles.
The Screamer is an amazing kite in the sense that it feels like a C kite so you always know where the kite is. The jumps on this thing are crazy (that's why I started kiting in the first place) I don't do a lot of wake tricks anymore because i'm not 30 anymore. I do however unhook a lot for jumps and flips. Right now it's my only kite, I use it to surf, freeride and speed kite. I had it out from 15knts to a gusty 33 knts it eats the gusts! Even unhooked it does what you tell it to do and has no nasty surprises. I'll be ordering a 14m screamer soon to cover the bottom of the windrange.
My last post on this forum was in 2006 or so but I had to get this out!.

Hightimes, you will love the 3G Screamer 14M, I have one for my lightwind kite and I like it a lot. I find it more fun than than the dedicated lightwind monster kites. My medium wind kite is also the 3G S10 LTD and the S14 fits perfectly with it. 7M / 10M / 14M quiver seems to work great for me in the last couple years.
