I'd suggest November at earliest... October is still pushing it...

As far as spots go, it all depends on what you're looking for... Cayo Guillermo would be the best choice for kiting, but there isn't any night life around there.... if you're planning to be going out a lot, Varadero would suit you better, but kiting is limited - you'll have to take a bus to get to the spot and the spot is nothing epical to talk about... the same, choppy conditions you can get anywhere else... Cayo Coco is another option, but since Guillermo flats are only 20mins away, just go to Guillermo... :thumb: Oh, and watch out for rays when plying in flats!!!

Thanks, toby and friends

About the hurricane thing, is not a great thing to do !! We just live infront of cuba in Yucatan we got wind all the year and many storms and hurricans during sep thru november, and the wind is really crazy to control your kite you need al least 4 m wind come from everywhere.

Anyone recomend dominican republic insted of cuba? or venezuela?

I just heard Cuba is a paradise not discovered yet...

Alex, I already heard about cayo guillermo, I think this is the place to stay.

How about nightlife? Did cuban girls make you crazy? jajaja

How about varadero? not many kite spots?
