Seriously!
Why are there no wetsuits (at least that i have seen or heard of) with a small zipper in front! I refuse to pee in my wetsuit. It really should not be that hard of a design challenge to add it, and with some thinking it should be possible to make it fairly water proof.
Come on, mystic, oneill, ripcurl, ion and all other brands! How will make it? There is a clear division between ladies and mens suits so the difference in design needed shouldn't be a problem.
Anyone out there solved the problem themselves? Please share! I'm reluctant to cut my suit up, but soon i will try it. Got a guy who knows how to do this stuff and has lots if materials, and it really shouldn't be that hard...

Well I don't know about solving the problem, but a friend of mine forgot he was in a dry suit. It certainly made good for a lot of laughs. Specially considering the dry suit wasn't even his.

Bare made them years ago, and it was very functional, although honestly it was little help if you had shorts on. Two layers to get through was a giant pain- literally, now it would be three with the shorts I wear over the suit......time to just go with it.......or in it.

Pee is sterile. Besides, it flushes out quickly anyway. Pee is also a great first-aid for jellyfish stings. No one I know comes in for piss breaks anyway. You should just get over your pee phobia.

You should just get over your pee phobia. I suppose that when i'm in the water riding, it would work, with a quick body drag to finish off. But, usually i dont have to go when riding, its when taking a break/teaching/chilling on the beach that i need the zipper. I suppose even you wouldn't do it in your suit while on the beach, among friends... =)

just walk in the water to your waste and let go. As long as you don't stand in one place too long, no one will ever know. I always time mine right as I'm entering the water since it's tough to actually pull off while you're riding. Easier to do when I'm sitting on my board. I also hate when people start talking to me while I'm in the middle. Seriously though, I don't want any hard plastic material on my crotch while I'm paddling.

The ION Fuse 2012 model has a zipper, also suitable for women.
