stig31, the wind in late February is good. Can be slightly chilly (well for us southerners at least), requiring a 3/2mm wetsuit. However, we kite all winter long because it is actually some of the best winds. Although, most people come later in April - May because the temperatures are back to warm.

If you have questions about launches, lodging, or other information, call us at the shop (956) 299-9463, or check out our website www.airpadre.com which has a wealth of info.

South Padre also has great flatwater on the bayside and waves in the ocean if you are interested in downwinders.
