Will try though the simple lark head combo, that vid does my head in.
This is similar to what I use; a very small and inexpensive carabiner that I loop through the bridle ends (in the proper order) when I'm unhooking from the kite. When setting up I can attach the carabiner to a tree or fence or whatnot to check for tangles (if I'm worried about that), then move over to the kite.
