there is only 1 affordable place for a kiter & family that fits that bill ... google Samui Orchid ... kiteschool is a bit of a pain, but absolutely perrrfect for kids ... get on it ...brunislovas wrote:places to stay? at least beaches, where, if there's a chance, i can get into water straight from the bungalow?

If you prefer somewhere really really quite, and don't mind the extra travelling, then sure Koh Phangan ... even down south near Trang - Pak Meng beach would be a nice family adventure ... Pranburi near Hua Hin has been getting great wind ... family friendly and not expensive accom right on the beach ...
