Hi, I have narrowed by board choice down to a north Jamie 2012, firstly because the construction is so good and secondly the ntt pads are the business...

The only prob is I can't decide on board size. I am 96kg and ride rpms 8,10,12m kites. Shall I get the 136x41. Or 139x42. I want one board to do all, what would u guys recommend, I realise there are pros n cons re both sizes, thanks, happy kiting

I have the 133cm and I weight 75kgs. I am on Vegas 12, 9, 7. I would have prefered to have the 136cm.

SO, for you, definitely go with the 139cm.. THE board feels small in the feet.

I was also thinking the 139, but I was worried I might not be able to hold an edge in high winds, any thoughts, cheers

The 139 not because it is longer but because it is wider and has slightly flatter rocker
You will want 42 wide when riding your 12M in lighter winds
At 96kg on your 8M holding an edge will be no problem in 35 knots and more fun especially if wind is gusty and drops to 20-25 knots at times. You will keep planing instead of sinking :thumb:

I am 75kg and have a 135x40.5 North Select

that is a fair point, gusty conditions can be a pain in the back side, one minute lit the next working the kite like a beast. If I was 80kg I wouldnt have any of these probs, but Im not because I love my food and muscle is heavier

Just need to try and demo a jamie first.. any people out there with a jamie, what are like at going upwind compared to other boards...
