Ahhhh. time for some general biting stoke.
so far 2012 has given me this.

25 knot torrential rain wave session. epic 1km wave rides.
18-24 knot boost session on the 13 edge.
jetti jumping and kiting amongst yachts
20km landboard downwinder wind died and had to run half in soft sand... hard core
cross on wave session on my 10 c4
about 4 light wind flat water sessions on the speed 3.
speed session on the landboard topped out at38mph
a split session onshore land and water. high speed landboard then jumping in the water
surreal ultra light wind landboard sesh maybe 3knots. silly light wind....Ahhhh.
there have been other sessions but those are the ones i remember.
its been a good start to the year.

That's a lot of riding over an 18 day period! Where are you located?

We've had super warm weather in the mid-Atlantic coast of the US so far this month. In Virginia Beach, water temps only go down to the low 40's F in winter. I'll usually go out when the air is 45 F and above. In the past I've only had 1 or 2 session each January, but I've had 7 sessions so far this year. Several sessions in 60F air temps!

atlantic coast has been nice? so has south padre, feels like an early spring after an extra cold fall. been super sick here lately.

last year we were plenty warm and windy through the end of december, this year it was cold and cloudy by mid november, but by late december started getting nice and the wind and waves have been firing. no wetsuit no problem for the last week (until today's north wind put air temps in the 60's, brrr)
