Well I had my first time out on the new 132 Laluz yesterday, only a short try out because after 20mins I couldn’t feel my fingers even though I wore gloves, UK weather eh!
I have to say it is a bit stiffer as I have been hearing, I felt it as soon as I got on it, still soft on the landings which is a good thing as one of my knees are painful. It seemed to hold an edge better than last years, may be due to the stiffer feel and the sharper rails, so going up wind was a breeze.
The conditions were not great at my location, choppy, close set waves and pretty much dead
on-shore wind. I was using a 12mtr RPM and I’m 80kg’s, wind was about 15kn and not constant, so not ideal. So I can’t wait for better conditions to try the board out, but first impressions were very positive, will up-date soon, hopefully when it warms up a bit
