I just wanted to share my nice experience and to let you know about this cool kitesurfing spot in Lanzarote in the Canary Islands.
You should look into it, the beach of Famara is an spectacular spot, not really exploited and therefore uncrowded. It has an enormous sandy beach, with just a few friendly locals riding. Sometimes, if you go early in the morning you even feel like waiting for someone to show up.

It normally blows NNE winds, the trade winds, which are constant. They usually range between 15 - 25 knots. Short wetsuit to no wetsuit.

You can practice freestyle as well as wave riding, one of the few spots really good for wave kitesurfing
