Kitesurfing from Dream Tulum

Postby miked » Tue Nov 25, 2014 4:02 am

My wife and I are planning to go to Tulum, Mexico and considering staying at the Dream resort.
Does anyone know if It possible to kitesurf right from the resort beach?
If not, can anyone recommend a nice place to stay were I can kitesurf right from the resort beach.

Thanks!

I was just there at the beginning of November. It is a little rocky in front of the resort but if you are an experienced rider you should have no problem. I would just walk north down the beach for 10 min. and there is a super beautiful spot with no one around. If you do stay at Dreams talk to Jamie at the dive shop he is a kiter and an instructor and will let you park your kites behind the dive shop. Best time for wind is Jan. and Feb.

Yes I would go back there. I would rate it about 4.5 star.
