Blade Fat Lady. I bought one and use it in any thing below 15mph for learning tricks, great for load and pop stuff. It also stays in the air longer in the lulls and it less reliant on board speed to generate power than the a zephyr.
It will lose out to race type lw kites in jumping and upwind ability but is not that bad at either. The kite is so good I look forward to those 10 knot days so I can have the beach to my self.

Pump me up wrote: Hi. These are all light wind kites. Their low ends are as follows:
Zephyr 2012 9-10 knots Flysurfer 21m 8-9 k Dyno 2012 8-9k Epic Infinity 9-10k
* Low end = consistently staying upwind on 7'2" mini mal.
Not sure about the others.
PMU Interesting. Listing a board suggests you got those numbers through personal experience... and they don't match the manufacturers claims... Care to share more of your experiences and opinions?

8/9 knots is what i can do with a 140/42 and my speed3 15 dlx....with a 21, i could go lower...with my 170/48 directionnal, i can get 1 more knot down with the 15....can t go lower, the kite is not nimble enough or develop not enough power....need a 21 for 5/6 knots and the directionnal. some peeps need to take lessons in LW kiting with a mini mal and those kites...

I bought my Blade Fat Lady 17 for €650 complete with new pump and bar. That's cheaper than most raceboards. And appearently it's fast for its size. I have it for over 1 month and I haven't flown it yet. It was too cold, too windy, too inconsistend or I just had no time or ride to the beach.. But I look forward to the day where I can finally fly it.

Below 6 knts suggestion? Beach chair, umbrella, cooler, lighter, bowl....get the picture? Don't worry, you won't have any trouble sparking up, there's no wind to blow out the match.

I see that Fat Lady is also very well recommended. What is the difference between it and Zephyr? Does anyone now what are the improvements of Zephyr 2012 vs 2011? And Dyno 2012 vs 2011?
Thanks in advance
