I ride there two weeks every spring and its a fun spot with a great local crew. The coast guard has asked that nobody ride in the inlet because of heavy boat traffic. There is one local rider who does not care that he is not supposed to ride in there but does it anyways. se wind is perfect direction for the inlet. Nice rollers form with outgoing tide. It would be great to ride in there but I never will especially cause i'm a tourist. Fort pierce is a scary place for me to ride because there are a ton of sharks there. I pretty much have seen one every time I have been out on the water. I don't try any tricks that I can't land 99.9% of the time! I was told a story about a guy who almost got his whole foot taken off with basically one foot on land and one in the water when he got bit.
