And #1 on the list is not a question, but simply a joke and also some making fun out of others "serious" and often quite ingenious questions when you look a bit deeper 8)
#2 is IMO a REALLY good question, apparently above most of the readers answering here
#3 is also a really good question, as for many the wide backs are utterly unusable and definitely a no-go :x
IMO the most stupid question by far - but understandable why so many ask so would not even call it a stupid question, just meaningless, is:
What is the best kite ?
Hilarious and makes absolutely no sense answering  (apart from a major storm of answers, trying to sell their own product or belief)

:D Peter
So you do agree there are stupid questions after all?
If indeed there were a topic What is the best kite ?, it would immediately take place number 1.
I am aware you defended the flat base pump question as a valid one, and that alone justifies your intervention here. On the other hand you understood the round cylinder question was a joke. Why shouldn't anyone be allowed to see the first one as a joke? I am still not convinced it wasn't meant to be a joke.
PS: "There are NO stupid questions" sounds quite a pompous (and politically correct) statement, especially the emphasis on NO.
The nuance between meaningless, stupid and silly is quite subtle. "Meaningless" certainly appears more acceptable to you lot.

Hey guys, please, don't take this topic seriously. It was meant to be just the opposite.

The 2 first will be very difficult to dislodge.
Who will be 3rd on the podium? :winner1:
Questions need not be topic titles.
The silliness of the question can be feigned, as I suspect the top 2 are (am I being gracious?).

And for the most relevant question:
1. How about an off topic section on the forum ?
DEAR KITEFORUM ACADEMY, FELLOW ACTORS AND WRITERS

AND IN CONCLUSION LET'S NOT FORGET "ALEXRIDER" FOR NOTICING MY SILLINESS

I would have definitely believed your in your silliness, if you didn't realise I was pulling some legs here...
Or did you? :naughty:

PS: as a matter of fact, your piston shape question deserves to be on the "funniest question" podium.
Let's for the time being continue to pretend not to have understood the question was a joke, so you can remain towering on the podium of the silly.

Well, nobby, you are silly :dumbo: if you believe the world is anything else but flat. :jump:

Perhaps you want a place on the podium if you question the flat facts?

That was a CLEVER question! You are thus disqualified.

Furthermore, it's not kite related.

"Is kitesurfing really addictive?"
(I think I posted this sometime in the past)
(Cleverest answer ever: "No, because to be addicted you must neglect other activities and I don't know of any other activities in life other than kitesurfing" , posted by I don't remember who.

New classification:

1. Is kitesurfing really addictive? :winner2:

2. Why are pump bases flat?

3. Why are pumps cylinders and pistons round?

Why round pistons only 3rd? Because got the inspiration from flat bases.
No protests allowed.
