I used weed fins on the Sector V1 and V1.5. They helped, but our local inland lake level was low last summer and nothing worked. I tried the FCS adapters with a couple of different fins and found that they worked even better for weeds, but I did lose some upwind ability. I bought FK-2 fins which are about as big as a FCS fin as I could find with a lot of sweep. I'm no surfer, but I think I did feel flex in the fin.

thanks for great info.
I'm keen to have a try of the weed fins but I'd really like to try the surf looking fins as I want to try and get the Sector to surf a little better.
I've had heaps of fun in small waves but when I try to carve a bottom turn, (well sort of bottom turn) and then cut back, the big fins just don't give enough. I'm not expecting surfboard style but enough to feel like I'm doing it, but the big fins really don't give an inch so these new ones look the part and I would expect turn better.
I wonder if a pair of the 0 deg cant as rear fins is okay or will it make the upwind suffer too much not having the 5 deg cant fins!
Any opinions greatly appriciated!
cheers,
Robbie
