Hi, guys!
I want to buy wakestyle board with boots someday. I like to jump unhooked, started to learn handlepasses and want to have this solid connection with my board.
I'm looking for reviews of wakestyle boards from you, guys. Specially from people, who tested many different models and can tell straight about pros and cons without BS. If you rode only one board (and sure it has "fantastic pop"), or you're mono brand fanatic, please, think twice before posting here.
I'm interested in following products:
— Hadlow Wakestyle — North Gambler — Slingshot Darkside — Cabrinha Custom — ABoards W-series — Liquid Force boards — any other wakestyle boots-dedicated kiteboard
Please share your thoughts on these products!

consumer, I'm looking for reviews of boards, not for advice for me. I'm "standard" rider with 70kg and 12/9/7 m² kites in flat water condition.

I bought the Cabrinha custom this year and have ordered a set of liquid force vantage ct boots to try the whole boot thing. When I was looking for a board to replace my north team series from last year the one feature I wanted most of all was rocker. I wanted that wake board feel. I looked at most of the boards that you mentioned in your list and could not find any that had anywhere near the same rocker. The board is excellent. I don't get butter flat water where I live so I need a real world board that can deal with that and find that the custom does that very well. Also because of the rocker it is more comfortable when playing in the waves and I don't fear the front of the board digging into the water. It pops slightly different. I think it is less stomp and pop and more progressive edge and release. It's far gentler on my knees! Ok that is about as no bs a review that I can write. I can't see how manufacturers call their board a wake style board without any more rocker than their freestyle boards.

Cant help with a review. havent changed up my TT for a few years now. Had to go custom at that time to get the rocker I wanted. Not sure if its still so, but historically the Cab custom has had the most rocker of the production boards. Rockered boards are power pigs for sure, but it is oh so worth it. If your gonna go boots, you might as well buy in all the way and put em on a board that requires solid power to perform.
Have Ronix boots and like em a lot, but wish they were a little tougher wearing. Ride strapless a lot now so am able to milk em along, but with constant use, they tend to break down at the ankle flex points. They are super light which is great, but I think a lot of boots are lighter now than just a few years ago. They are also nice and low profile, as in your foot is low to the board. Plenty of good options out there. Easy in/out is pretty key with kites. After having a few pairs of open toe, I much preffer closed toe.
Cant go wrong with the LF, Cab custom, or the Slingshot. Hadlow is probably pretty nice too, but never really seen one other than on film.
Get one of those wake specific boards and enjoy. If I were gonna buy now I'd probably go with a LF set up. They have been pushing that side of the sport since the beginning.

Im my eyes the Cabrinha Custom has been tweaked and perfected over many years and is the, hands down, best wake style board out there. (many others are good too but for what you get.. Custom is king!) Im not a fan of the way LF has these areas for grab handle on a binding specific board.. Im my eyes.. The 05 LF Element was awesome tough.. Make sure you don't put bindings on a board designed for straps.. It will mess up the flex and most likely break.. For boots I swear to ronix aswell. I got the Cells in the order now.. Matching colors is everything

Love my LF DLX. Not so much rocker as custom or profanity, but just enough, to keep soft landing and still be quick enough to go upwind easily.

You better stick to companies that have a long history of supporting wakestyle and boards strong enough for boots, like Slingshot, Liquid Force and Cabrinha, you can't really trust other companies to know what they're doing. Although slingshot kiteboards were so bad until last year that even their own riders used their wakeboards instead
Case in point that crazy fly board, "Medium Flex" is already a warning sign (wakestyle board should be stiff), and you can tell from the square outline that it's just a rebranded freestyle board. Other warning sign to look for is if the manufacturer is praising how light the board is
The custom is a great board for sure but every one I've seen (like 7) were more or less delaminated at the tips, so make sure you're tight with your dealer so you get replacements quick if you're going for that. 2011 model had the same problem but 2010 didn't, maybe they fix it for next year

Gyus, please, stop pimping your own boards and brands! Please post here ONLY if you tried few boards and can talk about pros/cons of them. Specially for reinis and Motion.
XMitja, yeah, saw one Cab Custom 2010/11 (don't know exactly from design) — 30% surface delaminated. This sucks for wakestyle board.
