Target: Designed for fun in light to marginal wind conditions.
The Fly goes in virtually no wind and is incredibly fun to ride. Its exceptionally light weight is primarily the result of removing the center strut. In doing this, the center section of the canopy performs like a spinnaker and generates incredible power in light wind.
The Fly uses the Park's proven easy-handling design, which gives it superior turning ability, but it incorporates more overall sweep, which helps the Fly relaunch in marginal wind conditions.

This is winter LW where 9 knots has a LOT more power "Not summer" LW or "ultra LW "
Slick water...rider in fullsuit...short high rocker TT with bindings..... I am happy that the rider had fun jumping and stuff on that cold overcast day
If he went to Brazil where Toby kites and wind was 9 knots He would have had NO fun at all
Claims about LW are like that.....like a magic trick Your eyes only believe what they see

I'm finally repairing my broken Kestrel wind meter so I can figure out how low the wind is for my brand new FLY. So far it's been a wonderful kite, stays up with zero sine moving.

Friggin glassy.
Theres a beach I know where the water will look just as glassy in 15-20knts, the kite looks good but I wouldn`t place an order on the strength of that " light wind " video..

That was my point. We've seen vids wheres people have a wind meter and claim to be riding in no wind...I'm glad they are not doing that but think it would be funny if they had as a parody.. What the rider says seems reasonable to me...and whatever you feel about any claims you cannot dispute that it is glassy
Btw where is it that glassy at 20knots. That wou ld be a very interesting spot to ride.
