With size 14 feet, I'm having trouble getting my feet into the footstraps!
Can I get oversize straps? or some kind of extension?
Atb,
Alec.

Answer: Stop using footstraps.
They don't fit anyone. If someone argues otherwise, they are ignorant.
Boots or strapless, your choice.

Does anyone make a make a size 14 boot? I would say get some custom made from a repair shop. I'm the folks at
www.Fixmykite.com could help you out.

I'm not sure, but pretty much every brand has a 13+ option. Take the open toe into the equation and you've got something. Boots should be tight as f***, so as long as this dude can squeeze his foot into the boot, he's got something that will work way better than some gay custom made straps.

This was asked before!
Think the guy put some spacers 10mm between the foot strap and the board ok he had to get some longer foot strap screws
My wife has only size 4 so had to pad her foot straps out with pipe lagging foam it works well

I ride with big booties and the straps are at the edge and would always come undone, I bought a set of Dakine heel straps ($20.00) and then just set them on top of the footstrap instead of behind your heel. works pretty good

I asked this before - I can get my size 13s into my straps with no problems if I'm barefoot, but booties are a problem. I've tried to make the longer screws/spacer idea work, but without much success (getting basic hardware is tricky here, particularly if it isn't metric) - you might have more luck if you have access to a decent hardware store. I tried some North straps, which seem to open much further than any others I've tried - I have a set on order now. I'll let you know how I get on with them.

Thank's for the replies.
As I'm new to this and have never surfed
I don't think strapless is an option at the moment.
I will try and make some spacers, otherwise its boots.
Atb,
Alec.

Open Toe boots suck with a kite well in general. Seems like I have a tendency to slide out the front of them when riding. Close toe is the way to go. But I do wear a 10 and not a 14. So open toe might be just the ticket.
