Im looking to get a new kite for myself for the 18 to 30mph range. I'm 200lbs... Intermediate rider. Not looking for pros and cons of the 2 kites. Just I can't ever figure out the wintange charts since I'm not 170lbs , which they are made for. thanks for any feedback.

Power of the wind goes as the velocity squared so if a chart says 18 to 30 mph for a 170 pound rider and you are 200 pounds, a quick calculation tells you that your wind range needs to be multiplied by sqrt(200/170) = 1.1
18 to 30 for a 170 pound rider == 20 to 33 for a 200 pound rider

I'm 220lbs.On my big twintip i can ride my 2011 rpm 10mtr starting at about 16 or so. On my regular board (136x41) the sweet spot is upper teens to mid to upper 20's. Good overlap with my 8mtr which I use mid 20's to upper 30's.
