Disagree a bit: a Gyro is around 2E, it is grilled meat, pork or chicken, not fried, so relatively healthy. The pitta within which it is wrapped is like bread (healthy). The onions and tomatos in it are healthy. The tzatziki in it is made of fresh yoghurt, garlic and cucumber (very healthy). I agree that three gyros are enough food for a day!
Try Kiteloop Mykonos (http://www.kitemykonos.com/?page_id=66), by the way. Nice place, brilliant people, perfect wind in July.

All the places I know on Paros are 1 Euro. The meat they use is rather fat, they also usually stuff some fries in there as well. But yeah, the rest is actually pretty healthy I guess. But who cares anyway, it tastes great

I've been to Mykonos years ago for windsurfing.
It's a pretty sweet spot and great night life. It used to be the gay island, but nowadays it caters for everyone (I think there's a joke in there somewhere).
Anyway, Im also planning to go to Greece in September, but Ill check out one of the other islands.

BTW- any kiting on the main land?

Hello Mr. Zelta,
All these places people have mentioned to you are great places to go and kite, and you have many more that you can even adventure into. The best time to go to Greece is middle of JUNE/JULY/AUGUST, but this is the high season and it will cost you more. September is amazing also and will be less money.
Any way, It doesn't matter which Island you go. You are going to love GREECE, its people and the food.

P.S. I usually get 2 Giros after my first session of kiting which usually runs from 9 am to 1 pm, so I can fill up for the afternoon session.

Hey,

Last year I spent the entire July in Naxos in Mikri Vigla. Kite Boarding was so much fun as there was continuous wind and sandy beaches. You will meet many kite surfers.
Most of the people come there for years so it not very touristy.
There are only two schools. Rooms are generally cheap compare to Rhodes.
It is not too far from nightlife and the big town of the island (Naxos).

Enjoy wherever u are..

Rhodes is a good option.
You can stay in the city, at low cost guesthouse and drive
to the beach.
Low cost guesthouses in Parasonisi (south Rhodes), and strong wind.
I found that the chippest (Quality is different issu) option is to book
all inclusive package to Hotel in Kramasti beach, where you can kite.

Kos - north shore around Marmari with sandy beaches and wind / small waves.
