I have come from a windsurf background like most kiters. Are board shorts really needed? I also come from a cold weather riding area. Is coverage really that important? It just seems like an extra step to apply a nice pair of boardies over a wetsuit. We don't see surfers doing this. Don't get me wrong, I would never wear a speedo to the beach and subject the general populus my meat and two veg. I am far more into function than fashion but I certainly don't want to offend the majority. Is image that important???

definatly i would wear anything or fly anything to kite evryday except for a foil or gurilla, i would also debadge a best if i had to, image is a part in evryone

However if your a fat and self conscious you might need to wear board shorts.

Personly I am a Waist harness man but I do take me nitrous shorts out quite often.
