Hi guys! I need a good lightwind kite to get some more water time, especially during summer! Does anyone have a good one for sale, or any thoughts/reviews on which one is best? I've tried Blade Fat Lady and it was amazing, like being pulled by a truck!

I was going to recommend the Fat Lady. I tried most of the 2011 lightwind kites and chose the Fat Lady. It was the most fun to fly out of the bunch. Mainly becuase of the lighter bar feel and turning speed. Good luck with your search

You might look into the Griffin TRX 17. Great light wind kite and loops like a dream. Not sure what prices are in your area, but they are a really well built kite at an amazing price. I compared it to the ozone Zephyr and the zeph had the slight edge in bottom end, but the TRX turned way faster and much much better for relaunch in the surf. Good luck with your search, I would rather kite on a low wind day then not kite at all, any time on the water is good.

There have been quite a few topics about this. I think it comes down to what you want. Are you looking for ultimate low end on a raceboard in 7 knots, or something to have fun with in 9 knots?
High Aspect/Race kite = ultimate low end, biggest jumps, but slow turning (dyno, charger, edge) Low Aspect kite = a little less low end, but easier reluanch and quicker turning (infinity, fat lady)

You are 100% correct Mr. davesails7, Quote: Poster: davesails7 There have been quite a few topics about this. I think it comes down to what you want. Haven't tried the Epic Racer but the big Renegades are good kites.
Besides the ones already mentioned other kites to try are: SLEs... - North Dyno - Ocean Rodeo Flyte - Core Riot LW + just about everyone has something...
Foils... - HQ Matrixx - Flysurfer Speed 3
For pure 'light wind' ability (i.e. getting you going at lower wind speeds) the foils generally win.
For pure 'fun kiting' ability plug into as many of them as you can get hold of and make your choice...
I think you should always look at using a different board (e.g. door, surf board, race board) too with your existing kites because it is amazing how much they can add to your light wind kiting.
