It's been a while since I had to choose a board, and now I'm a little stuck so I can use some advice!

I'm hesitating between the Nobile NHP 128 and 131. I'm now riding an older Nobile126. I'm pretty sure the 128 will be ok as I already tested it, but I'm wondering if the 131 might not be better.

I'm an advanced rider, freestyle, 64-65kg and about 176cm. Liking all conditions.. but mostly medium powered.

Tough call... I would go for the 131*40 but im sure the 128*39 would be good as well. Possibily if riding heavy chop, the longer outline would offer more control. Tip for advance riders on the NHP is to run the same 3cm fins which are found on the Fifty50, rather than using the 5.5cm stock fins. This makes the NHP much more skatey when needed but still delivering grip when needed.

Could be interesting, because I feel like I'm not getting good pop in the choppy water here now. But I also like a skatey board.

If you are coming off the older Nobile models which tended to be flatter, then I could see that the NHP could take a few rides before you got fully dialled into. Once you have got the NHP dialed in, there will be no turning back. If you like a skatey feel then get the smaller fins with the NHP, which takes the board to a whole new level. I weight 65kg and roughly 178cm, and use the 131 NHP and ride in choppy to very choppy sloppy conditions. Are you coming off the older Nobile 666?

I'm now using the 666 from 2008. The main reason I want to change is because of the spray, the new ones should be less of that. Second reason is I could use a bigger board. Now an extra 5x2cm seems a lot from the 126x38 I have now.
