I know its way early to talk 2013 I was just wondering what brands are using Norths material they had a patent on for 2 years? Or is there now something even better?

Don´t know, but a lot of companies that uses Teijin (T9600)...

If you look a the quote at the bottom of the Teijin homepage,

Might have given it away a bit there.....

I've been wondering this also, as I'm in the market for some new gear. May wait til Spetember. If this new Technoforce material is as good as they say (see North), then I think it may be worth holding out for.....

That said, I;d like to see how much 2012 stock start going for with "inferior", canopy materials

Ok tks for the info guys. I guess North had a 2 year exclusivity on this material but it is over for 2013 I believe.

Have come across a few used 2012 Rebel/Vegas advertised with " a few pin holes in canopy " so is this new material really the answer..
