ever seen Lou kite toeside with his back to the kite and the bar behind him?...pretty much can go faster than most can go heel side

Thank you OzBungy for looking it up and proving it can be done....44.8 knots is fast
Since we know now it can be done......how about a modern era 2012 record

With todays high tech kites let's use a "real" gunshaped directional with fin (fins) only at the tail
And see by how much we can shatter that old 2005 mutant record

But the headstand style is already done with the Source not on the Course :naughty:
Probably without the "chemo" :nono: :lol:
To me the "toeside directional World Speed Record" would be more impressing,
than the limited Olympic Course Race :lol:
