In your opinion, what is the best old school kite atm? (2011-2012 kites)
Also, wich board do you think fits the kite?

depends on your weight and winds...

Anything big is great for it!

But I think kitewise you will not be so limited...but barwise...a micro loop is important to have. A stopper works as well (a good one...) but is not as good as the those power loops to keep the bar powered.

Boards? Anything smaller (max 135) and not too wide, to hold the power of the kite...and foot straps which can be made biiiiiig.

Let us know what you bought for yourself once you made up your mind!

Large C kites that have 1 or 2 inches of depower, take forever to relaunch, dog slow in the air, 7 or more struts with teeny tiny little inflate and deflate valves, battens, drag you so hard downwind that your leg muscles grow muscles on their muscles holding the kite down, no quick release, you ride suicide or not at all, and a pickle fork board like the jimmy lewis 141 pickle fork.

Thank goodness they don't make kites the way they used to.
