And i'm sure that happened to anybody at least once - one of the worst thing that could happen to you when you're in the wrong spot. And in a case of the intentional release - you flag the kite with no questions asked! Dimitri, Don't mean to be a nose-picking butt - really like the new bar arrangement except for the bar it-self, particularly - the center-hole, you do realize it will look like an old prostitute ofter first ride out and the covering material will start pealing really-really fast? Any plans for a better (larger) center-hole insert? I had these issues back with other E.... bars, and had to re-glue the covering material around the center-hole every so often during the season. Sorry for bringing up the Ozone name again, but the way Ozone's center-hole is done makes it totally maintenance free: Another question: have you kept the same adjustment range with the new bar ends? Cheers, Alex The chicken loop looks super nice, amazingly easy and quick to put back together. I'd say it's a job really well done. I've got to agree with Alex though, I think that bar material is going to peel off easily, would it be a real issue to change it at this stage of the design process? It's the only problem I have with my North bar, after a week it looks like it's a year old which really fucks me off. The Ozone bar has always seemed really nice to me. The safety attachment is a really good design. I know because I've had it for 2 years on my bars! Nice one Epic.

Hi James, shame we didnt get to meet up today so you could have had a better look at the bar. Glad you like it though!
The new Mutiny bar has a special self lubricating removeable centre that can be replaced when renewing the centre lines...very cool. Apparantly it just does not wear the lines anywhere near as much as others. Maybe a simple hard wearing plastic type material that can snap in place in the hole?

funny everyones bringing up ozone bars, Currently using one for my screamers and LOVING it. Found the epic bar wasn't as durable and as a few people have mentioned about the center line wear, could be better. Interested in seeing what D & Momi have done with this bar, will be getting the chicken loop to retro fit my 2011 bar.
Also as a side not guys, if your not happy with the bar center, retro fit your own bar with your own parts??
Dimitri, as has been asked before any chance of getting the different sized chicken loops? Also noticed you've gone to a single line flag-out, much prefer this system!! have you achieved higher flag out percentages?

Maybe a simple hard wearing plastic type material that can snap in place in the hole? he inserts actually work well to prevent wear on the depower lines. Just ride easy for a couple of sessions so that the material can coat your depower lines. Had a Best RP bar from 2010, depower lasted on average 6 months. Ive had my 2012 bar now with the Derlin inserts and very little wear on the depower, plus you can replace these inserts when they wear down a bit. As for the Epic bar, looking good dimitri, some good stuff there that would have been nice alterations on the Best RPB for 2012. Can you replace the redline alone on your front line flagging system or is it the full line length up to the kite? Take it that connetion at this point is larks head / 2loops to prevent failure? Would be a nice retro fit for extra safety As said earlier nice work

Really like the new bar/system. some nice handy work on the 1 second re-set.
some very technical questions coming in, it great to see that the fourm has such a great breadth of knowledge. As questions I would never even have thought to ask have been answered.
So thanks chaps

Hello MikeyThe diameter of the hole on the CL where the Kill Switch lines goes through is (9 mm) almost (1cm). And yes will have a entire set up to retro fit the 2010 and 2011 bars.
