1 – Transfer the lines from the kite to designated slots on the LOOPER.
2 – Roll the LOOPER handle while walking towards the bar will collect the lines.
it's easier and faster than winding the kite lines back and forth around the bar.
Thanks

So instead of wrapping your lines around your bar you wrap them around the Looper? It sounds like it might work ok. It might be particularly useful for boat launching.
A few problems:
- it takes 30 seconds to use the looper and 5 minutes to run back and forth to the car to put the Looper away/get it after your session
- if you do a downwinder or land somewhere not near your gear you still have to wind the lines onto your bar
- line handling is a skill. If you don't practice it you'll never get good at it. Once you get good at it you don't need the Looper.
- I bet if you don't practice using the Looper then you can create some monumental tangles
- I used to use a rubber keeper to secure the ends of the lines so I could just attach, unwind and go. That thing was half the size of a credit card. Even that ended up too much hassle.

How? What you want in a boat launch is to avoid laying the lines out fully but launch untangled. This requires a way for the lines to reel out cleanly from the bar end as the kite floats away. This looks like the device would be reeling out from the kite end. If it worked, it would be out there with the kite.

The looper looks a little small for 25m lines, especially if you have a 5 line bar. That's just looking at it from here. I say that because the looper bar looks short compared to a typical bar so that would mean more loops. I don't think you can fit that many loops around it.

I was just trying to be positive. I think the Looper is a pretty silly idea for most people.
