Hi everybody,

I want to buy one of the following Cabrinha boards:
- 144x43 or 139x42 or 144x143 Cabrinha Chopstick
- Spectrum 140x43 or 144x144
- Caliber (2011) 139 x 43

The board will serve me as a small or medium board!
So far I have a door plus a 136x42cm North board, which is rarely used unfortunately due to my heavy weight and the lack of wind...

- 100 kg
- mostly lakes
- 16m Switchblade and 11m Convert (2011)
- Freeride and old school!

Important to me:
- choppy water
- Upwind ability
- Pop and landing hooked jumps
- planning

Maybe someone can help me out????

Tending to buy the Chopstick (price/performance)!
But the caliber 2011 should be very good, too!
Hmmm....

Thanks, Norbert

Please no other brands so far! ;-)

Cabrinha will be announcing their new 2012/2013 boards and kites soon so you might want to wait until then and see if you can get a better price on the 2011/2012 boards, or go for one of the new ones.

sbc kiteboard has some board reviews and a search will find more.

Cabrinha has one board and that is Caliber. I have one 2011 139 as the one you said and I'm pretty happy with it.

i got the 2012 chopstick , good in chop , decent pop but nothing amazing , kinda heavy , i find it to be pretty damn good at upwind and is very comfortable landing some nice air , and the price was damn good , got a deal at US$220 slightly used , i learnt on a big calibre , and a friend has one , i slightly prefer the calibre , bit more pop , but find the chopstick more comfortable
