Anyone know how to replace the battery inside those tiny Skywatch meters made by JDC? IMO, a disposable wind-meter is not a good idea, yet here it is in my palm...and its Swiss made too

Sounds like you have the Skywatch Fun and apparently you can't change the battery. They claim the battery is good for 250,000-1,000,000 measurements. Obviously they lie.

Just now i carefully got it split apart using a miniature hobby saw. i removed the tiny battery which is a 3V CR1220 ill be buying a new battery and i will report back if the installation works out. I took some pics sawing the case open...... they really didnt want me to open it up!
