How short can a session be ; before it's Not called a session ?

Mohave was 11 - 13 when we showed up so i put my 13M Edge together
and Forced --Santi-- to go out on it cause he's a light Lil s**t, while i put
up my 19M PL. Just as i got ready to launch, the wind picked up a Lot ;
that was Maybe 10min Max .

The PL got put back in the bag and i hooked into the Edge. Body-drug to the trees
and the wind died down to 10, (just enough to plane-off with One down-loop
before the kite back-winded and the wind went somewhere else, other than Mohave.

I didn't consider "That" a session ; but nether did --Santi-- with his 10min !

So -- How Short can a session be, & has it happened to You ??

my def of a sesh is to throw at least one strong solid trick and land and to be able to come in in where I launched from. If you go for more and loose ground, that still counts cuz you COULD have landed at the origin site.

yup maybe its 5 minutes on the water, but those five can keep the stoke alive to make it through a weak wind period

You need to get wet to call it a session

We have a thread on our local forum about Kite:Drive Ratio... I don't call it a session unless I get to ride for at least half as long as I had to drive.
We get skunked so often in SWO we don't even "go kiting" anymore, when we leave the house we are "going for a drive to the lake"... to make sure its still there... And if it gets windy then we just got lucky...

So in my case this Ratio may not work.......

My drive is one minute to the beach.........so 30 seconds just wont cut it ...

Unless i borrow an already flying kite from a friend.......but my abs will sure be sad..no workout

ONE Minute drive time ? !!!

I hate you , because Mohave is 1:20min from where i live .
I won't go unless the forecasts look promising .

I've traveled 4hours to go Hang gliding , only to have a forest-fire

I have to drive at least 1 hr for a good session... can get a so so session if I drive to another spot that's 1/2 hr away...

I think you know when you've had a session or when you haven't ... it's a feel thing maybe... a certain sense of satisfaction ... i don't know... maybe it depends a bit on comparing to previous sessions as well.

think I'm gonna go for that hot dog and coke soon.

am I ever glad I burnt out on my last session which was over a week ago...
