Hi,
I'm thinking of visiting Puerto rico in february or in march between the student's holidays. We were in Cabarete 2 years ago and it was great, wind everyday for a 10m, so I'm thinking that the Puerto Rico must be the same.
Since Puerto Rico is much smaller than Dominican Republic we were thinking of renting a car, so could visit more kite spots. How is the Puerto Rico price wise, we don't need no fancy hotels, even an apartment is fine.
Does anyone have any contact there, where to stay, where to kite, etc.?
Regards,
Urban

This would help you:

If you also likes to surf spend a few days at the Northwest coast of the island.
In February you have a lot of "cool front" on the area and they can generate big swells
Shacks in Isabela is a good spot on the northwest for kitesurf. "Montones" is also another spot
near shacks.....................
La parguera is a good flat water spot on the Southwest.
Make a search on youtube about shacks beach and also for the other spots and you would have and idea of the spots.

Manuel
