When should a person quit kiteboarding?

Should they ever be forced to quit, by their friends and family?

When they become a danger to others. It doesn't matter what the age is. We have a guy that sucks at kiteboarding, and he is afraid of going in the water, so he stands on the beach and flies his kite. So far trying to talk sense into him has been futile. We're working on the next step.

If it is his biggest passion, don't take it away from him.

And if he dies doing it, be happy for him, for sure he will be.

Another way to ask this question would be:

"You know you should quit kiteboarding when:"...

(1) You look all over the house for your harness, and find it in the refrigerator, next to the peaches.
