Hi i know its a pretty dumb post but would doing gymnastics help in freestyle? i friend does it and he told me it helps his riding he also practices with a strange bar atached to a tree and under the tree he has a trampoline he also tries his tricks there with his board on haha! i taught that was caind of stupid but??
Nothing stupid about it in fact it is a great idea. Jocke an very old skate friend (dont really know him well any more) was a gymnast, and just competed in x games mega ramp this year in LA . Also a couple of kiwi kiters, were into gymnastics , marc jacobs and dave edwards. I also know of some top euro freestyle snowboarders that are friends of friends...
We organized trampolining for those into action sports in nz with help of super keen trampolinist, foam pits too - super fun - wish i had got involved in this before joint pain set in lol... go hard - you can learn all passes without a board for kiting for example..... - tramp and bar etc

I've known a few people who have used old kitebars tied to trees with a trampoline underneath to help them perfect things like handle passes, much easier and less painful to learn to movements that way!

Sure I agree with all the above comments but you need to challenge yourself And than, you'd be able to bring up your level to KF's moderator But to go beyond, you'd need to do some extreme core training, which is also associated with concentration and balance improvements, since timing is everything I don't want to get into what because there are so many ways to do just that, but just pick yours what you like, the tools and create the time to do them regularly and I promise you'll be the winner Meanwhile, the secret is to start practicing right now, I described or similar stuff, NOT NEXT WEEK Start doing similar what Slingshot did many years ago and worked as you "C"
