Thanks for the explanation and basically we are on the same wave length.
This is also why I was surprised with the 'Baah Baah baah'
Anyway to each his own, as long as you are enjoying what you are doing : )

Yeh just watched the flock of SB only riders grown in multitude numbers in a place where there is crap surf in summer. Don't get it, never will. Some are starting to return and have realised they were following the flock.

Hi
Anyone have any tips on where to level up from flat water to wave surfing? I can't see too many wave-specific courses out there and would love a recommendation either for location or an instructor. By the looks of it, Peru or those kind of spots are going to be out of my league. Any advice appreciated!

Practise your skills on flat water, gybing, switches etc and then build up to bigger waves. Also watching videos and people who are good is also a massive help.There are actually quite a few camps out there so it depends on what time of year and where you're prepared to travel to. I have been on good ones and bad ones and found that a good instructor was much more valuable to me than the location.
