I've owned many different kites from different brands over the years Almost all, without any exception came in a bag too small to properly fit the kite. Typically, you would need a 14 bag to fit a 9 kite. I mean, typical bag size is good to fit the unused kite in a factory sterile conditions, but its a straggle to do it on the beach. I even once damaged the kite while trying to fit it in
Anyone have an explanation for this? I doubt its money, how much money would it cost to make the bag 10cm bigger?

Always about money man Hopefully Epic kite has bags that you can fit 2 or 3 kites in if you wrap them well without expanding the bag

you should deflate the kite first... now seriously, in 2004 i had GK kites and one bag could fit two of them (15 and 12). today, each bag has enough space for a kite and a bar if you give it a nice fold, i never had any problems fitting the kite in if i folded it good enough.

They do fit in eventually, I just don't see any reason why we should strugle and fold them tightly to fit.. things should be comfortable..

If you do lots of travelling (by air) you'll find you actually want them to be smaller not bigger!

I should put my comment in context - I ride North and all their bags are the same size....so my 7m is drowning and my 14m is pretty snug....10 is about right.....

My 7M Nobile bag is so big I put my 13m Xbow in it, the 10m xbow goes in the 13 bag and the 7m goes in the 10 bag.
Well done Nobile. The Cabrinha bags are a bit bigger now, a couple of years ago they were kite purses.

My 2010 Xbow bag is a little on the snug size (better now the kite has had some use and is 'softening' up) but the 2011 Xbow bag is an easy fit!
Seems it's just a matter of technique and getting as much air out before you put the kite away - especially if it's still new ...
