Agree about product graphics on websites....I'd like to see real pictures of kites and boards etc from a variety of angles.

Another big brand fails in their promotion video: North Rebel 2013

You only see the kite flying steady in steady ocean winds - no turning.
On several occasions if you see the kite in close up flying you will notice bumps appearing in the canopy. Not a big deal, but for the few seconds of appearances of the kite they could have taken shots with prefect canopies - or has the Rebel 2013 always these bumps ?

Again a lot of jumps and wave riding without any glimpse of the kite.
Any kite can have been used.

It is not because Sol Skybach or Ken Winner appears and explains that I believe them - they are just paid to promote which is their job. Maybe next time North should use Oprah Winfrey which I trust as much.

This is almost a total fail promotion video:

You see the kite drift, but no turning - so I wondered if the kite could turn too ? Something required for wave riding (in my case)
At 53 sec the kite is jelly-fishing - not exactly what I want for a kite - if it jellyfishes already in the promotion in steady ocean winds then how would this kite behave in gusty winds?
It promotes the boards very well as you see many wave boards turning in hollow (still easy) waves. What kite they were using is unsure. Takoon , Zeeko, F-One, Best, BWS, Slingshot ?

That Drifter trailer was HORRIBLE .. .you don't see a single clip of the kite performing .. NOTHING

How can Cabrinha release such a shitty commercial.

this is exactly why i been trying to find somewhere where you can test the kites yourself before committing to buying , even if u pay a lil for the test flight  ... because in the trailers you really don't have the slightest idea if what they are saying is true, and it's not hard to show in a 3 minute clip some of the characteristics they are trying to sell us on. it'd not like selling a car , it's a lot easier showing a kite's characteristics in a 3 min video than proving a car's

Come on, asking for a sales video to show tech is like asking beer commercials not to have girls with skimpy bikinis in them. They are trying to sell product so they make an emotional appeal not a technical one. If you want to know how a kite handles demo it. Come to think of it, the problem with these videos isn't enough shots of the kite, it's not enough girls in skimpy bikinis.

try to find a kite event, like an amateur competition, plenty of demos you can do then, I think they hold them in florida in march or may. I heard is no wind there in the summer.

At least nobody is lame enough to do what Core did with the GTS2 launch video:

Lots of yapping about how amazing this kite is at kitelooping and they actually do show some amazing kiteloops... on lines that are at most half the length of stock lines!!! Great marketing!!!

This was the right sort of idea - if the kite was included a bit more.
